Prom, Graduation Provide Good Prep for Beauty School

So much in daily life can help to prepare you for beauty school, but this season especially holds valuable sources of inspiration. I'm not referring to spring's blossoms and dew, although I'll give nature its due another time. I'm talking about

prom and graduation. These April/May traditions will provide a lot of fun and opportunity for you when you've completed hair style school.

Until then, you may be on the receiving end of prom and graduation hair services. If you're in high school, you may be planning to go to prom this year and maybe graduate as well. Or you may have friends or relatives preparing for those once-in-a-lifetime days. If you find yourself in the salon either primping yourself or accompanying someone else, pay close attention as individuals or groups of girls and guys, too, come in not just to look good but to enjoy the process.

There will be so much going on! You'll observe the creation of updo's, sleek hair, wavy styles and looks supported by hair extensions. Everyone needs a manicure, many girls will want a pedicure and some may ask for facials, too. If the salon doesn't employ a makeup artist, often the stylist will do the girls' makeup. The stylists must work quickly yet be careful not to disappoint clients on their special day. After you learn how to do all of this beauty school, you'll play a huge role in making people's memories (and photos!) the most special that they can be.
