Cosmetology Program
The 1200-hour Cosmetology Course lasts approximately 34 weeks. Classes begin weekly. Upon completion of the required hours, the students will receive a diploma from NFA that will allow them to take the State Board Exam for licensure. Cosmetology Course includes training in these areas:

Instructor Program
The instructor training program is one of advanced training for cosmetology, barbering, nail specialist, facial specialist, full specialty and massage therapy licensees. An instructor?s license is not required in order to teach any of these disciplines in the State of Florida. The curriculum is laid out so as to assure minimal competency in each of the areas in which any instructor will be required to perform. The basic subject matter content is arranged in an effective learning sequence The mastery of these competencies will aid in assuring that the instructor will be able to affect learners comprehension and the mastery of specific skills that will be required by each specific specialty area licensing examination.
