Renovated in 2008, the Academy has a 5-star salon/spa look and feel which provides students with a real world salon experience. Academy of Beauty & Spa has a large number of highly skilled instructors and occupies close to 20,000 square feet of ultra-modern facilities. The school consists of specialized classrooms, retail area, a large spa clinic, reception area, facial and massage rooms, offices and student lunch room. This spacious academy provides students the study environment needed to create a lucrative career in the luxurious Spa and Salon Industry.

Our Programs
Cosmetology
The Academy of Beauty & Spa is a Vidal Sassoon Connection Academy, teaching the latest in hair design and sculpting. From the first phase of Discovery, learning new skills in our Inspirational phase and practicing their artistic ability in our Creativity phase, our students work on efficiency and productivity.

Esthetician
The Esthetician program is one of the best of its kind in the nation. Academy of Beauty & Spa is the first in California to offer a Master Esthetician course teaching extensive medical spa training. Become licensed in Master Esthetics to meet the high demand of the rapidly growing medical spas.

Spa Manicuring
The nations first to offer a Spa Nail Technician program; advanced spa manicure and pedicure training. Course includes instruction on reflexology, hot stone, therapeutic treatments, gel nails & sculptures, introduction to airbrushing, nail art, skin brightening and spa behaviors. Students also learn applicable laws in health, safety and sanitation.

Holistic Health and Massage Therapy
This course encompasses all of the practical and theoretical training you'll need to become proficient and certified as a massage therapist. Massage students are taught body anatomy, theory of the muscles and nerves. Learn basic massage techniques along with advanced massages such as Shiatsu, hot stone, aromatherapy, deep tissue, pregnancy, reflexology, aromatherapy healing and sports massage.

Make Up Artistry
Inspired by the world-renowned Make-up Designory (MUD) curriculum, Academy of Beauty & Spa is the only educational institution outside of NY and LA to offer an advanced certification professional make-up program at this level and only MUD affiliate school in the nation. Intimate class sizes for intense learning on the latest techniques used for bridal, runway, editorial, commercial and film.

Master Esthetics License
The primary purpose of the 600 clock hour Master
Esthetics program is for licensed skin care graduates
and licensed cosmetologists to gain advanced esthetic
skills in both a spa and/or clinical setting. Emphasis will
be placed on the ultimate client experience in both
these environments.
