COSMETOLOGY
If you’ve ever imagined yourself working in the fast-paced Beauty Industry, the Marinello Schools of Beauty Cosmetology program is exactly what you need to get your foot in the door. The curriculum focuses on hair care theory, practical training and technical instruction with a brief introduction to skin and nail care. Students take classes in hair cutting, coloring and salon management. Prior to program completion, students have regular opportunities to work with industry professionals and the public through student competitions, industry and community events and by performing services for clients on campus. Graduates of the cosmetology program are ready to make their mark in the Beauty Industry in one of many different careers including salon ownership, hairstylists, make-up artists, instructors and beauty product sales representatives.
ESTHETICS (SKIN CARE)
The face is one of the first things people notice about a person so why not make a career out of helping other people feel beautiful? Marinello Schools of Beauty Esthetics program trains students in skin analysis, facials, hair removal, exfoliation, body care, makeup, salon management and the basics of nail care. Theory, practical training and technical instruction are key attributes of the Esthetics curriculum. Prior to program completion, students have regular opportunities to work with industry professionals and the public through student competitions, industry and community events and by performing services for clients on campus.
