Answer: Upon proper application to the board, any person currently licensed to practice as a barber, cosmetologist or nail technician in any other state or jurisdiction of the United States and who has completed both a training program and a written and practical examination that is substantially equivalent to that required by these regulations may be issued a barber or cosmetology license, respectively, without an examination.
